Allah has set boundaries in our lives. Some things are clearly permissible, others clearly forbidden, and between them are matters that require knowledge and caution. This course introduces the fiqh principles behind halal and haram, the categories of rulings in Islam, and how scholars determine permissibility and impermissibility. Students will learn how to navigate everyday situations, understand doubtful matters, and develop a framework for making ethical and Islamically sound decisions in modern life.
