About

This class is designed for students beginning their study of Arabic grammar (nahw) and morphology (sarf). It introduces the foundational concepts needed to understand how Arabic words and sentences are structured, helping students develop the skills to read, comprehend, and analyze classical Arabic texts with clarity. Topics include parts of speech, nominal and verbal sentences, grammatical cases, word patterns, and basic verb conjugations. Through structured lessons and practical examples, students will gain a strong foundation for future studies in Arabic and the Islamic sciences.

Note: Students must already be able to read and write Arabic before enrolling in this class. This course focuses on understanding the grammar and structure of the language, not on learning the alphabet or reading fluency.
