Salah is the anchor of the believer’s day and the most powerful link between a servant and their Lord. Yet for many, questions about its rulings, conditions, and common mistakes remain unanswered. This course offers a clear and practical study of the fiqh of salah, covering topics such as purification, prerequisites, integrals, recommended actions, and common errors—grounded in classical Hanafi scholarship and relevant to modern daily practice. By understanding not just how to pray, but why we pray the way we do, students will develop a stronger spiritual connection and more confident observance of this foundational act of worship.
Class Objectives:
- Learn the essential rulings of salah according to the Hanafi school, including prerequisites, integrals (arkan), and invalidators.
- Recognize common mistakes in personal prayer and how to correct them.
- Strengthen the spiritual and emotional connection to salah through deeper understanding of its meanings and purpose.
